Skicentrum Kohutka is located in altitude 715 - 913 metres (2350 - 3000 feet) above see level in Javorniky mountains, directly on Czech/Slovak border.
Nearest towns are Vsetin/Czech Republic and Puchov/Slovakia.
With one 4-seat cablecar and six lifts belongs to medium-sized ski resorts, with total capacity 6500 skiers/hour.
Both bottom and top stations are accessible by car, so it's suitable especially for families with children and popular not only for downhill skiers, but also for cross-country runners.
Slopes are classified in all the three difficulty categories - black, red and blue ones. Terrain for cross-country runners is pleasant, wavy up-and-down with moderate elevation changes, usually well-aligned.
Snow-making equipment is installed and running on the slopes from December to early March, but higher temperature can cause a weak season sometimes, as the altitude of the resort is not so high.
There are many refreshment options, especially on the top of the slopes - cottages, restaurants with delicious food and drinks.

Skicentrum Kohutka je zimne lyziarske stredisko strednej velkosti, polozene na hranicnom hrebeni Javornikov v nadmorskej vyske 713 az 915m nad morom.
Momentalne ho obsluhuje jedna stvorsedacka a sest vlekov s kapacitou 6500 os/hodinu, k dispozicii su svahy vsetkych troch obtiaznosti. Rezort je oblubeny nielen medzi zjazdarmi, ale aj medzi bezcami na lyziach - hreben totiz poskytuje skvele, obycajne vyborne upravene trate.
Samozrejme, zasnezovanie funguje, no v pripade teplej zimy moze byt sezona velmi slaba, nakolko stredisko nie je velmi vysoko polozene. Obycajne vsak snehu byva dostatok.
Vo vrcholovej casti strediska je mnozstvo moznosti obcerstvit sa, pricom najvacsia chata Kohutka je priam kultova so svojimi boruvkovymi knedlikmi.
