This church is still an active use by its original congregation! There are multiple service times including a Wednesday night service, and reading room times (reading room is in the same building on the Prince Street side - use Sunday School entrance), so go to the church website for more details: (visit link) Service time listed below is the Sunday service.

Built on the former site of the Cogswell family's 1850s home, this Beaux Arts-style structure exhibits a strong Italian Renaissance influence. Designed by Rochester architects Gordon and Kaelber, the church was begun in the fall of 1914 and completed in 1916 at the cost of approximately $250,000. The church boasts four impressive granite pillars at its entrance. The roof is covered with Spanish tiles. Note this building's symmetry and the leaded glass windows. It is located at 440 East Ave in Rochester, NY. (from Flickr website)

There is a mention of this building in the Rochester and Monroe County American Guide series in Tour 2:

"designed in the neo-classic style, with wide steps leading to a curved main entrance through a portico with Corintian columns copied after those of the Temple of Lysicrates, Athens. The interior is in the form of a large circular auditorium with an ornamental dome." (p 174)
