The holiday display in Aberystwyth are turned on every year on the 25th of November to a small ceremony.
The light display involves; snowflakes on the lampposts, a string of lights zig-zagging across Great Darkgate street, private lights added on in windows and a huge conifer with multicoloured lights on it.
This years ceremony was a bit of let down as a few lights filed to turn on. The display is paid by the taxpayer via the council.
