This is Naval Auxillary Landing Field, Fentress. Located in Chesapeake, VA. The field is used for carrier simulated touch-n-go practice for Naval Aviators operating out of nearby NAS Oceana. It is not unusual to see F-14 Tomcats, F/A-18C&D's, or even the new F/A-18 Super Hornet flying the landing pattern around this airstrip practicing for the carrier. I hope you enjoy the pictures.
