This coin-operated ride is located inside Oklahoma Zoo main courtyard, before you turn in your ticket to enter the zoo. Painted on the floor of this courtyard is a map of the world.
Safari children's ride is a black and white zebra-striped jeep, with three passengers: a brown monkey that is sitting shot-gun, a blue elephant, and a yellow/white giraffe. You are the driver in the ride, next to the monkey, who looks pretty scared already!
The cost of the ride is 50 cents (sign says quarters only, no tokens).
The OKC Zoo is open daily except Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day. Admission is $8/adults; $5 children ages 3-11 and Seniors; children 2 and under are free. Parking is free, and same-day re-entry is permitted. You are welcome to bring your own food and drinks into the zoo, but straws and glass are not allowed. Smoking is banned in the zoo and in the zoo parking lot!
