This sculpture, standing about four feet high, consists of five squares arranged in sequence and mounted on an angle. There is a sphere in the center mounted on a vertical rod. Viewing the piece from the end gives the impression of looking into a cave or tunnel as the inner surfaces of the squares are left rough, and one loses the perspective of individual squares. It is unclear if the design has anything to do with the building or its location. The building dates from 1988 when the summer Olympic games were held near here.

Gangnam is one of the most affluent districts of Seoul, largely built after the 1988 Summer Olympics which were held near here.
