This clock is mounted at the arch that is located at the bus terminal in front of the railway station of Luzern.

The arch used to be the main entry portal of the old railway station from 1869. This building burned down completely on February 5th, 1971. This arch is the only remnant of the old building.

The new railway station was built some 50 meters further South, so now the old entry is in the center of the bus terminal between the new railway station and the ship landing.

The clock is the typical Swiss railway station clock. Thousands of copies of this model can be found throughout the country at any railway station.
