The Barcelona Pavilion (Catalan: Pavelló alemany), designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, was the German Pavilion for the 1929 International Exposition in Barcelona. This building was used for the official opening of the German section of the exhibition.
Because this was planned as an exhibition pavilion, it was intended to exist only temporarily. The building was torn down in early 1930, not even a year after it was completed. However, thanks to black-and-white photos and original plans, a group of Spanish architects reconstructed the pavilion permanently between 1983 and 1986.

El Pabellón de Barcelona (en catalán: Pavelló Alemany), diseñado por Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, fue el pabellón alemán para la Exposición Internacional de 1929 en Barcelona. Este edificio fue utilizado para la apertura oficial de la sección alemana de la exposición.
Porque este fue planeado como un pabellón de exposiciones, se tenía la intención de existir sólo temporalmente. El edificio fue derribado a principios de 1930, ni siquiera un año después de que se terminó. Sin embargo, gracias al fotografías negro y blanco y los planes originales, un grupo de arquitectos españoles reconstruyeron el pabellón permanente entre 1983 y 1986.

Der Barcelona-Pavillon (Katalanisch: Pavelló alemany), von Ludwig Mies van der Rohe entworfen, war der deutsche Pavillon für die Weltausstellung 1929 in Barcelona. Das Gebäude wurde für die offizielle Eröffnung der deutschen Sektion der Ausstellung benutzt.
Da er als Ausstellungspavillon geplant war, sollte er nur vorübergehend bestehen. Das Gebäude wurde Anfang 1930 abgerissen, nicht einmal ein Jahr, nachdem es fertiggestellt war. Doch mit Hilfe von Schwarz-Weiß-Fotos und Originalplänen rekonstruierte eine Gruppe von spanischen Architekten den Pavillon zwischen 1983 und 1986.
