This facility will expand the universities astronomy programs and the many community groups, from young children to senior citizens. Students and the public can observe and study our solar system, and stars in our galaxy. The complex includes two 22" large-diameter education- and research-grade telescopes mounted in 12-foot-diameter domes, six anchored pedestals for mounting smaller portable telescopes and an outdoor conversation pit for presentations.
