Ettingen is one of only a few municipalities left in the area that still has the cemetery in the churchyard. The current church was built in 1914, but the oldest proof of a church at this location dates back to the begin of the 7th century.
The churchyard has about 150 graves. The graves north of the church have all upright headstones, the ones south of the church are lying slabs.
The official name of the church and the cemetery are not written anywhere on the site. They are the only ones in Ettingen, so their name is hardly ever used. It is just "the" cemetery.
