This sundial can be found at the wall of the church St. Katharina in Witterswil. This church was built 1641 and was completely renovated in 1983.
The sundial is painted at the wall and facing south. It has leaf ornaments above, the gnomon mounted in the middle of a sun with smiling face, and the numbers are Roman.
The motto under the sundial: "Omnes vulnerant, ultima necat!" (they [the hours] all wound, the last kills)
