Korea is definitely high tech, and there are many areas, especially in Seoul, that specialize in electronics. In the Sindorim (Guro) district of Seoul, this Technomart has several floors of electronics, including service centers for Dell and Hewelett Packard, but there are department stores (E-Mart) and other specialty stores as well. There is a Starbucks and a McDonald's on the ground floor, but the food court on the eighth floor has several dozen restaurants and coffee shops including this nicely decorated Japanese restaurant.
The lunch menu is out with prices ranging from about 5,500 won for noodles, to 15,000 won for an elaborate sushi plate. The traditional Japanese box lunches are also available. The dinner menu contains entrees ranging from about 15,000 won up to 30 - 35,000 won. Although the cuisine is definitely Japanese, as the name suggests, it has a definite Korean twist. Korea excels at adapting everything to its culture, so fusion cuisines flourish and are difficult to describe. Then there is fusion music, art, and just about everything else. So, this is an interesting place to eat while waiting for that lemon of a Dell computer to be repaired upstairs.
