A bi-lingual welcome sign that shows the city in Germany that Bangor is twinned with, along with its motto 'City of Learning'. The sign is located on a busy road leading into Bangor from Llandegai.

It is rather unfortunate that the next large sign along the road is for the nearby cremetorium!
