Bell tower of the Valada Church near Salvaterra de Magos in Portugal.
The church dates from 1211 during the reign of D Afonso II. The 1962 restauration of the church stole much of it´s beauty.
The tower is probably from more recent construction than the church and the clock was probably mounted during the 1962 restauration. It was made by A C dos Santos, Clockmaker from Lisbon. It has a face made of marble with black pointers and black Roman numerals.
