Lodore Falls in the Lake District. Most spectacular after heavy rain but a worth a visit in any weather.

Lodore Falls is located behind the Lodore Falls Hotel near the Grange end of Derwentwater and south of Keswick. The waterfall is formed by the beck from Watendlath Tarn cascading for a drop of around 100 feet. Although the falls are spectacular after periods of heavy rain, they dry to a trickle in periods of prolonged dry weather.

Parking is available at the Lodore Falls Hotel (who own the falls although there is public access)
