Located on the front left corner of a fountain, this sculpture is entilted "Tigre Terrassant un Ours" or "Tiger Slaying a Bear".
The bronze work is dated 1685-1687. It depicts a bear brought down by a tiger and the bear would appear to still be alive as the tiger stands over it. The tiger's mouth serves as one of the founts.
The artists are Jacques Houzedu (1624-1691) and Balthasar Keller (1638-1702).
