ON THIS SITE, MARCH 11, 1960, JOHN FITZGERALD
KENNEDY MADE AN APPEARANCE AT THE OLD NICOLET
LABOR HALL (LOCAL 48, AFL-CIO) WHILE CAMPAIGNING
FOR THE DEMOCRATIC NOMINATION FOR PRESIDENCY
OF THE UNITED STATES.

"A MAN MAY DIE, NATIONS MAY RISE AND FALL,
BUT AN IDEA LIVES ON. IDEAS HAVE ENDURANCE
WITHOUT DEATH"

JFK, FEBRUARY 8, 1963

IN NOVEMBER OF 1960, AT THE AGE OF FORTY - THREE,
KENNEDY WAS ELECTED THE 35TH PRESIDENT OF THE
UNITED STATES.

DEDICATED MAY 29, 1992 IN CELEBRATION OF JFK'S
75TH BIRTHDAY.
