Pribram is a historical royal mining town. The town is an attractive tourist destination, especially for its baroque national cultural monument Svatá Hora (Holy Mountain) and the biggest mining museum in the Czech Republic. The oldest written document concerning Príbram dates back to 1216, when it was bought by the Prague bishop Ondrej. It lies at the foot of Brdy 60 km Southwest of Prague.
