We can see in the wall of Port Wine Cave, some marks of the most "famous" floods of the Douro River.
The highest flood point occurred on 1909 almost at the cristmas eve and the oldest recorded flood was on 02/02/1825, almost two centuries ago.
The most recent, and also the lower one, was already in our century on Janua, 6th 2001.
