The memorial stands in the park close to the bus stop in Somoskoújfalu village, former part of Salgotarjan town. The old woman in a scarf is sitting there with her arms at her knees, mourning for her relatives who didn't survive.
The statue was made in 2000 by Hungarian sculptor Peter Molnar.

Description of Memorial:
This is quite a busy area, people walking around, sitting at the benches, waiting for a bus. When I took the pictures, there was a lot of Hungarian flags with the center cut-out: it was just after the 22th anniversary of 1989 fall of communism in Hungary, when Hungarians removed the hated red star symbol from their flag.
