CZ: Prírodní rezervace Polanský les se nachází u severního okraje CHKO Poodrí. Rozkládá se na levém brehu reky Odry a severovýchodne od Polanky nad Odrou. Tato oblast byla vyhlášena prírodní rezervací v roce 1970, zaujímá rozlohu 59,17 ha a leží v nadmorské výšce 220 m.
Prírodní rezervaci Polanský les tvorí puvodní lužní les s karpatskými prvky v údolní nive reky Odry. V oblasti lesa se nacházejí slepá ramena reky Odry a nekolik tuní. Les je tvoren buky, duby, habry, topoly, javorem mlécem, klenem a babykou. V podrostu pod stromy se darí rustu chránených druhu bylin. Roste tu napr. sneženka podsnežník, cesnek medvedí, jaterník podléška, lilie zlatohlávek, hvezdnatec cemericovy, kycelnice žláznatá ci ostrice chlupatá.
Návštevu doporucuji v jarních mesících, když kvetou sneženky a potom medvedí cesnek a lužní lesy kypí zelení.

EN: Polansky les (Forest) Nature Reserve can be found at the northern edge of the PLA Poodrí. Nature Reserve is situated on the left bank of the Oder River and northeast of Polanka an der Oder. This area was declared a natural reserve in 1970, occupies an area of 59.17 hectares and is at an altitude of 220 m.
Polansky Forest Nature Reserve consists of the original floodplain forest of the mountain features in the alluvial plain of the River Oder. In the forest there are dead arms of the Odra river and several pools. The forest is made up of beech, oak, hornbeam, poplar, maple, sycamore and other trees. In the undergrowth under the trees grow many protected species of herbs. We can see here common snowdrop, wild garlic, common hepatica, Martagon lily, Hacquetia epipactis, Dentaria glandulosa or sedge Carex pilosa.
I recommend to visit the waymark in spring, when the snowdrops and then wild garlic are in blossom.
