The Veterans Memorial in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico, features monuments, plaques, a replica of the statue of liberty, a history walk designed in the shape of a Congressional Medal of Honor medallion, and a 1/2 size replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C.


Separating the parking lot from the history walk is a 5-sided landscaped area that has this earthglobe as its centerpiece, elevated on a pillar and supporting an American eagle. The continents are displayed in a stylized manner, and are not the focal point of the display.
