This old prison from the 16th century in Estremoz has been converted into a fine dining restaurant.

Located within the city walls, this two story building from the 16th century has been converted into a bar and restaurant. The top floor was reserved the guy in charge of the place and female convicts. The bottom floor was for male convicts. Most of the centuries old structure has been kept in place, as well as the stone elements and some of the windows.
