[EN] Footbridge from the brewery to the castle, whose author is the architect Iveta Torkoniaková, follows the left bank of the entrance to Podskali, right on the moat with safari and western castle gate. It is 110 meters long and four meters wide. In the direction of Mutenice from it leads 1.5 mile new bicycle, which was part of the project. The city now is looking to bridge a proper name.
    Construction of suspension bridge began in spring 2009. Will not only serve local residents but also tourists. Bikers coming down the river now, the cycling will be able to visit the castle, paddlers on the right bank of the river where he had ever heard. In the place where used to be overshadowed by the unsightly bank with stones and mud, created space with a stone stage through which swimmers will go well into the water and boaters will perform well.
    Footbridge connects downtown with the historic territory Strakonice Castle. The main supporting structure is a suspension bridge with a span of 89.4 m. The middle field pylons are slightly angled in cross section forms a closed frame. The pylons are steel welded sections of the chamber. The interior chamber is filled with concrete. The main suspension cables are composed of 31 strands of 15.3 mm high tensile wire. Steel cables do not pass continuously through the pylon, are anchored to the pylon and are stored in a polyethylene tube filled with fat. Rod hangers Ø 30 mm are connected to the transom bracket. Beam bridge deck consists of two longitudinal girders and rolled steel cross bars at a distance of 2.45 meters, which is stored in eight longitudinal. The bridge superstructure is made of oak planks thickness of 70 mm with non-slip grooves. The footbridge is equipped with hydraulic shock absorbers and longitudinal cross rope shock absorbers.
    Bridge work in 2009 in the new building was declared a footbridge at Strakonice castle. It became the best new bridge in the Czech Republic. Significant jury award goes to Strakonice of XVI International Symposium Bridges in Brno.

[CZ] Lávka od pivovaru k hradu, jejíž autorkou je architektka Iveta Torkoniaková, navazuje na levém brehu na vstup do Podskalí, na pravém na hradní príkop se safari a západní hradní bránu. Je dlouhá 110 metru a široká ctyri metry. Ve smeru na Mutenice od ní vede 1,5 kilometru nové cyklotrasy, která byla soucástí projektu. Mesto ted pro lávku hledá vhodné jméno.
    Stavba visuté lávky zacala na jare 2009. Sloužit bude nejen místním obyvatelum, ale také turistum. Cyklisté prijíždející po proudu reky po cyklostezce ted budou moci navštívit hrad, vodáci na pravém brehu reky nemeli drív kde vystoupit. V míste, kde býval nevzhledný zastínený breh s kameny a blátem, vznikl prostor s kamennými stupni, kudy se plavcum pujde dobre do vody a vodákum se bude dobre vystupovat.
    Lávka propojuje centrum mesta s historickým územím Strakonického hradu. Hlavní nosnou konstrukcí je visutý most o rozpetí stredního pole 89,4 m. Pylony jsou mírne šikmé a v prícném rezu tvorí uzavrený rám. Pylony jsou ocelové z komorových svarovaných prurezu. Vnitrek komor je vyplnen betonem. Hlavní visutá lana jsou složena z 31 lan Ø 15,3 mm z drátu vysoké pevnosti. Ocelová lana neprocházejí spojite pres pylon, jsou kotvena do pylonu a jsou uložena v polyetylenové trubce s tukovou výplní. Tycové závesy Ø 30 mm jsou pripojeny do konzol prícníku. Trám mostovky se skládá ze dvou podélných ocelových válcovaných nosníku a z prícníku ve vzdálenosti 2,45 m, na kterých je uloženo osm podélníku. Mostní svršek je z dubových fošen tlouštky 70 mm s protiskluzovými drážkami. Lávka je vybavena hydraulickými tlumici podélných kmitu a lanovými tlumici prícných kmitu.
    Mostním dílem roku 2009 v kategorii novostavby byla vyhlášena lávka u strakonického hradu. Stala se tak nejlepším novým mostem v Cesku. Významné ocenení odborné poroty putuje do Strakonic z XVI. mezinárodního sympozia Mosty v Brne.
