La Ola (the wave) is an impressive sculpture made of thousands of bottles created by the artist Horacio Dowbley with the support of children of more than 20 schools of Luján. It is erected in front of the Basilica of Our Lady of Luján in Argentina.

The aim of the sculpture, made of 10,000 bottles, was to raise awareness of the population and the participants on the fate of plastic waste.

Luján is a city in the Buenos Aires province of Argentina, located 68 kilometers northwest of the city of Buenos Aires. Luján was founded in 1755 and has a population of 94,000 (2001).
