Located in a small courtyard across the street from the Vincent Van Gogh Youth Hostel, this sculpture has three steel slabs positioned upright with head like bulbs at their tops. Each slab is a different height with the smaller one appearing hunched over and carrying a cane.
A plaque below the sculpture reads in it's French version:
"En hommage et en remerciement a la Belgique pour son accueil des refugies du Vietnam. 1975-2010"
which in English is "In tribute and thanks to Belgium for its reception of refugees from Vietnam. 1975-2010"
The plaque indicates it was dedicated October 2, 2010 and presented by the Commune of Sint-Joost-ten-Node.
