A bird house that looks to have a similar style to the house, whos garden it stands in. It is in use as I spotted a sparrow fly into it, but my camera finger wasn't quite fast enough to get a picture of it.
It would be in use during the March to October months as most of the birds in the uk that use temporary nests are migratory and head south during the winter to Spain or below.
