It's located by the end of one of the main avenues of the city. The little station has its charm, but not a lot going one. There a few (13) daily departures. The trains in the country are very slow, the locomotives basically are old Czech material. Tickets are very cheap. For example, to travel between Tirane and Durresi, a 30 km ride, a ticket costs the equivalent to 0,49 Eur.
There is plenty of commerce around the station and even a farmer's market.
