The Lakeside Great Wall Reserve is located in Huairou District of Beijing City (about 70 kilometers from Beijing) and relax resort for tourists and locals.
The specific dam was built in Haoming Lake and the rising water covered the wall in the valley. So you will find a picturesque view of the Great Wall (built in Ming Dynasty, 1404) in Water.
You will find also in this Reserve a "Ming-dynasty Chestnuts Garden"
The dam was built in 1974 and it is 30m long.
Transportation from Beijing City:
Take bus No. 916 at Dongzhimen and get off at Huairou International Conference Center. Take the bus from Huairou to Xishuiyu and get off at the last stop.
