Janov (Czech pronunciation: ['janof]) is a Czech and Slovak toponym derived from local variants of personal name Jan (English: John). In both languages it is also an exonym for Italian city of Genova.
Janov is a small village, part of the municipality in the district of Kosova Hora near by Pribram in the Central Bohemian Region. Located about 2 km southwest of Kosova Hora. There are 17 houses and about 50 inhabitants living in the village.
