Station History:-
Bangor Fire Station respond to approximately 900 calls per year.
Originally located on Dean Street the present station, which is now shared with the ambulance station, was built in 1964 and opened by RT HON Peter Thomas MP and is home not only to the crew but also its resident ghost "Gibbs".
Members of Bangor Fire Station compete in many local events such as the Three Peaks Challenge, the London Marathon and Anglesey Cycle Challenge. An Ex member of Bangor Fire Station achieved the highest grade nationally on a station officer exam!!
