Peter Pan (the boy who wouldn't grow up) was a creation of the Scottish author J. M. Barrie. Master Pan is an eternal boy, who spends his immortal years and days in Neverland, having endless fun adventures with various fictional characters and leading his 'lost boys' gang. For whatever reason Peter Pan has become an international favourite and has found his way into the popular culture of the western world.
This statue is a replica of the famous Kensington Garden statue. It is found in the spacious and beautiful grounds of "Queen's Garden", in the eastern side of the CBD of the City of Perth. The statue was a gift to the city by Perth Rotary.
My apologies for the photos. When I visited the sun was near directly behind the statue.
