Yala city and province is found in southern Thailand, abutting the border with Malaysia. Towards the north of the city, along the main road, is this mosque. In design it has an open design central area, with a square shaped roof with a dome atop. A set of stairs lead from the street entrance to the mosque itself.

According to the tourist sign outside the main entrance this mosque was resident in the province for a considerable period of time, but that it also changed location a considerable number of times. It was apparently moved to its current location a century ago. Suffering damage from the Japanese occupation of Thailand it was rebuilt after WWII.
