The Lasinpalatsi (Glass Palace) building was created in the 1930s, and is an example of Functionalist architecture. It was restored in 1996.
According to the Ravintola Lasipalatsi website neon signs were a feature of the original design. It's not clear, but from an old black and white photograph, these waitresses may be to the original 1930s design.
