APA - Torres Vedras, Portugal - Humane Societies and Rescues on Waymarking.com

APA is an association created in 1982 by a group of citizens of Torres Vedras in order to protect the animals of the municipality, including those who are victims of neglect and maltreatment.

APA currently gathers about 900 members. The Members fees and donations allows APA to provide food, health care and better living conditions to the animals animals.

Currently the association takes care of about 320 animals are housed in the kennel of Torres Vedras, located in Palhagueiras.
