CZ: Cervenolistá forma buku lesního (Fagus sylvatica atropurpurea ci též atropunicea) se obvykle nedožívá príliš vysokého veku a nedosahuje žádných mimorádných rozmeru. Tento buk v bezprostrední blízkosti holešovského zámku je však výjimka. Zasazen byl asi pred tremi sty lety a za tu dobu dosáhl výšky 22 metru a zejména obvodu kmene 590 cm. Na jedné strane je již jeho kmen poškozen, ale vzhled stromu ani jeho stabilitu to zatím neohrožuje. Od roku 1980 se nachází na seznamu památných stromu Ceské republiky. Údajne mel na druhé strane zámku bratrícka, ale po nem již nejsou v parku znatelné žádné stopy.
EN: Redleaf form of beech (Fagus sylvatica atropurpurea or atropunicea) usually does not reach high age and extraordinery proportions. But this one situated near Holešov castle is an exception. It was planted about 300 years ago, is 22 m high a its girth is 590 cm. It is a bit damaged on one side, but still beautiful and steady. In 1980 it was registered in the official list of memorable trees of the Czech republic. There was probably another beech on the other side of the castle, but perished a long time ago.
