Henri Mignet was riding on public enthusiasm for the new activity of flying, and offered a kit for home assembly. 120 were built in the UK and gained an air worthiness certificate. A further 350 were under construction.
Unfortunately the inventor did not have a perfect grasp of aerodynamics. Flying fleas had their certificates withdrawn after 3 deaths with experienced pilots.

The display airframe has a number of G-ADYV (HM14). It is a replica.
