The North Dakota State University bison mascot models his yellow and green garb inside this Scheels All Sports store drawing attention to the array of college clothing bearing the college name. All NDSU’s athletic teams are known as “the Bison,” sometimes referred to as “The Thundering Herd.” While the Bison footaball team uses the Fargodome for their games, the basketball teams play in the Bison Sports Arena. The university athletic magazine is “Bison Illustrated.”
