Displayed on a curved wall that is located on the campus of the West Virginia Northern Community College, this large mosaic depicts various events in Wheeling history. Some of those include Fort Henry, Betty Zane making her heroic dash for powder in what turned out to be the last battle of the American Revolution and Samuel McColloch fleeing a band of Indians in 1777.
I was unable to find any information about the artist or when the mosaic was created.
