Named for Virginia's American Governor, Patrick Henry, Fort Henry was the site of the last battle of the American Revolution. The battle took place for September 11 - 13, 1782 when Ebenezer and Silas Zane led forces which defeated British and Indians under British officers, carrying a British flag.
