This diner was featured in a Zippy the Pinhead comic strip when it was under different ownership and known as Patty's Place. In the Zippy strip, Zippy's friend Griff worries about the restaurant being converted into a Starbuck's. That hasn't happened yet, although it is now under different ownership.
