When I did my eagle Project it was about Community Service. Now they are more about the leadership ability of the eagle candidate. I and 6 other scouts spent 14 hours a day for 6 days helping at a retirement home. Reading, Playing games, Running Errands, We did laundry, washed cars of those that had them, Hung out and had fun. Did a lot of the things that the people there didn't have anyone to help the with. It was a very sobering experience to see how some people were abandoned by family. Got a great write up in the paper and was a lot of fun.
