Hamilton--Brown Shoe Factory was built in 1903. The building was designed by architect Isaac Taylor. The building was one of six building in a complex of buildings used by this shoe manufacturer, only two of the original six remain. This building was extensively renovated in 2000 to be used as the headquarters office of an insurance agency.
