Lake Louise, Alberta, Canada, part of the World Heritage Site of Banff National Park, offers tourists the opportunity of a classic vacation memory: canoeing across gorgeous Lake Louise, with Chateau Lake Louise and the Canadian Rocky Mountains as backstops.

Hire a bright red canoe and enjoy the experience of paddling across pristine turquoise glacier-melt waters, beneath the unbelievably blue Canadian sky.

Or, for a different treat, choose a guided history tour of Lake Louise in an authentic 26’cedar strip and canvas canoe with a guide and canoe historian that will share stories about the area, the canoe, about the native peoples, early explorers, and tell tall tales about fur traders.
