Kornhausbibliothek is the public library of Bern. It has 21 locations in Bern and eight suburbs.
The libraries are named after the main location in the Kornhaus in the center of town. Kornhaus was the former municipal grain elevater, built in 1711 and converted to a museum in 1895.
Today the building contains a restaurant, a live stage, a forum for conventions and concerts, and since 1998 the main location of the public libraries.
The library has 120,000 items (400,000 over all locations). It is located at Kornhausplatz 18 in the center of Bern.
