In village Vysoke Myto has one of the largest manufacturers
of fire fighting equipment in Bohemia and Moravia operate.
The factory was founded in 1899 and continued even after nationalization in
1948 under the name THZ n.p. (in translation - Factory fire extinguishers).
THZ n.p. was in 1962 merger with another major company Karosa n.p.
Production of firefighting techniques in Vysoke Myto ended at the
delimitation to the branch office in Policka in 1985.

Vo Vysokom Myte existoval jeden z najvacsich vyrobcov hasicskej techniky
v Cechach a na Morave.
Tovaren bola zalozena v roku 1899 a pokracovala aj po
znarodneni v roku 1948 pod nazvom THZ n.p. (Továrny na hasicí zarízení).
THZ n.p. bola v roku 1962 zlucena s dalsim velkym podnikom Karosa n.p. Vyroba
hasicskej techniky vo Vysokom Myte skoncila az delimitaciou do pobocky
v Policce v roku 1985.
