Keutschachzisterne is a cistern located inside Salzburg Fortress.
It was build by order of the Prince-Archbishop Leonhard von Keutschach circa 1502 to provide fresh water to the castle even if the castle was under siege.
Could´nt find much information about the pump. Curiously, i´ts made of wood wich makes me believe that if not built at the same time as the cistern it shouldn´t be much recent.
If anyone can provide aditional information about this pump i will gladly add it to the description.
