The small city of Kratie is the capital of the Cambodian province of the same name, located in the north east of the kingdom. The 'city' is small, maybe 10,000 residents with maybe 500,000 in the province as a whole (mostly rice farmers), and thanks to the assistance of Japan there is a hospital in the city, approximately (so I could gather) ten years old.
For whatever reason I was refused entry to the hospital, and there was minimal English language signage (only the Japan signs had English script), as such I have little information other than the existence of the hospital. It is located near the city centre, and was busy with local folk when I visited on a weekday.
