KMI/IRM weather station at Mont Rigi, High Fens, Belgium - Weather Stations on Waymarking.com

This is one of over 200 weather stations operated by/for the Royal Meteorological Institute of Belgium. It's located in the High Fens, a high plain and nature reserve in the East of the country, in the province of Liège.
This station collects weather data of the Northwestern flank of the High Fens. It has all the usual instruments that you'd expect from a weather station of an RMI (thermometer, barometer, anemometer, wind vane, windmill, hygrometer, ombrometer - and often several of those) as well as a snow gauge, visibility sensor and instruments to do research related to climatology, hydrology and radiation.

Visit Instructions:
You must post Waymark coordinates as well as a picture
of you with a GPSr or Geocaching/Waymarking
attire/equipment and the subject weather station in
the background. The main photo should be of just the
weather station itself.
