Conseil 1813 des chevaliers de colomb de St-Eustache
Au printemps de l’année 1915, un groupe de trente-cinq frères Chevaliers de Saint-Eustache entreprennent des démarches pour la fondation d’un conseil. Le Député de District, le vénérable frère Cinq-Mars, procède aux enquêtes qui s’imposent dans de telles circonstances, avise le Conseil Suprême du sérieux des pétitionnaires et recommande aux hautes instances de l’Ordre d’accéder à leur demande.
Le vingt-six septembre 1915, le Conseil Suprême décrète la fondation du Conseil 1813 de Saint-Eustache. L’effort des membres fondateurs est récompensé et la charte du nouveau conseil est signée par le Chevalier Suprême et le Secrétaire Suprême. Localement, c’est la joie et l’euphorie! Le jeudi trente septembre 1915, une grande soirée est organisée pour établir officiellement le Conseil et procéder à l’élection des premiers officiers.
Tels sont les début du Conseil 1813. De nombreux Frères Chevaliers ont suivi l’exemple tracé par le vénérable premier Grand Chevalier, frère J. Adélard Lamarche.

In the spring of 1915, a group of thirty-five fellow Knights of Saint-Eustache taking steps for the establishment of a board. The District Deputy, the venerable brother Cinq-Mars, conduct inquiries necessary in such circumstances, notify the Supreme Council of the seriousness of the petitioners and recommended that senior levels of the Order to grant their request.
On September 26, 1915, the Supreme Council decreed the establishment of the Council in 1813 in Saint-Eustache. The effort is rewarded founding member and the charter of the new board is signed by Supreme Knight and Supreme Secretary. Locally, it is the joy and excitement! On Thursday, September 30, 1915, a big party is organized to formally establish the Council and to elect the first officers.
These are the beginning of the 1813 Council. Many Brother Knights have followed the example laid out by the venerable first Grand Knight, Brother J. Adelard Lamarche.
